About the event

Author and director of Red Oak Writing, Kim Suhr led our PAAC members in a writing exercise a few years ago and we have wanted to bring her back for more ever since. Join Kim for a morning of creative writing at a waterfront property amidst the woods that will benefit writers of all experiences and ages.

Prompts and writing in community are great ways to tap into your creativity and unlock the ideas that bubble just below the surface. For novice and veteran writers—and everyone in between—Time to Write! will bring you back to the page and rekindle your delight in the writing process. This is an intergenerational workshop for those 8 to 108.

Note: This is not a writing critique group, and participants are not expected to share their writing with others. Please come with a notebook or laptop.

Kim Suhr is the author of Nothing to Lose (Cornerstone Press, 2018) and director of Red Oak Writing. Her work has appeared in many journals, including Midwest Review, Wisconsin People & Ideas and Rosebud. She holds an MFA from the Solstice program where she was the Dennis Lehane Fellow in Fiction. To learn more about her writing, visit kimsuhr.com.
